Hairstyles for Monsoon

Hello Everyone

It’s Monsoon here in Mumbai. I guess I’m the only one who hates these kind of rains. Who else feels the same? Let me know so that I know I’m not alone in this.

So here I am with cute hairstyles for women for long and short hair. You can consider this post to be a throwback whilst showing the hairstyles you can adorn for monsoon or on other occasions.

If you want to let your hair open then
Wear a hat- On sunny days, a hat can spruce up your outfit.
Floral tiara headband- Wear it to a beach, day party or a brunch.
Simple headband- I’ve been wearing headbands all my life now. The styles have change but on any day when I have to keep my hair open, I wear one!

Pin up on sides or top- This looks great on rebounded/naturally straight hair or the ones that are really heavy on top.
Short hairstyle- Leave them open, part them from sides and pin it up. Makes up for a cute yet carefree look.
You can also wear a Beret or Breton cap or tie up a cool bandana. They look super call with any hairstyle!

During monsoon or bad hair days, I recommend these hairstyles
Fish tail braid- Messy or neat is upto you. Fish tail braids look utterly hot and beautiful on any day.
Twisted ponytail- Tie a pony, make a gap in between and take the entire ponytail through it such that twists develop on either side of the hair. It looks really royal.
High rise ponytails- These look very chic. Wear them with crisp shirt and colored pants/denims.

Which hairstyle do you like? Let me know in the comments below :)

MY LBD from Limeroad.com

"I have enough LBDs, said no girl ever"

I've had 3 before and when I saw this piece on Limeroad.com I just had one thing to do- put it in my basket!
So the first time I saw Limeroad.com it was back in 2013. It was a very different shopping destination as compared to other websites we see around. Their USP, I believe, is the storyboards they create around their clothing. They give you visual style tips to make your shopping experience memorable. I didn't find their delivery system quick but when the order came, they had left a "We missed you" note since I wasn't available. I liked this gesture of theirs. Don't the little things count? :)

So I bought this beautiful sheer dress from them. I was sceptical about the neckline and armhole but it fits me like a glove. Tailored-made, eh?

I believe it is one of the best online shopping websites in India with one of the most versatile designs and friendly customer care.

Also, since the world is going digital and mobile seems to be the new thing, they have a mobile app for your convenience :) Do check it!

Can't wait to style this. What do you recommend?
I say, low bun, chandelier earrings and a cuff.
